November 27th, 2018 Devlog #3 The first hurdle


Hello everybody!

Well, this is embarrassing. I forgot to sign off my name last time, oh well.  So, we toil away and on this day we hit our first hurdle.  going at a decent pace, we leapt, swung the leg, cleared it, and then our back ankle caught it and it through our face into ground.  Frustration was palpable and the fun of the project as not there in the instance.   After sometime dedicated to it, we had to abandon it to pursue other things.  It was instructive in that it made us realize we were  beginning to swim out into the deep end of the pool.  With that being said,  here are the days notes.

  • Fixed enemy spawn so that certain enemy types only spawned in certain patterns
  • Created a game pause function

Pretty extensive list, huh?   Like I said, we spent sometime with our face in the pavement, but we're getting back up and running the race to will we cross the finish line; even if we trip on every hurdle.   That's it for today, hopefully tomorrow I'll have some very basic screen shots and some news on what we'll be using for our art development.
